Crystal Bead Patterns (8/31/2015)
Near where I live, there is a wholesaler for Swarovski crystals. If you can spend enough, you can attend an open house once every 3 months. Usually, there is a class to take in the afternoon, so my beading friends and I make a day of it, meeting for breakfast or lunch beforehand. It’s a lot of fun and we get great prices on crystal for making projects like these:

While browsing Pinterest, I came upon this necklace photo and it gave me an idea for embellishing a crystal drop bead. What I came up with is easy to do and the number of seed beads can be adjusted to fit different size drops. My tutorial includes the bead counts for two common sizes.

And here is another free bracelet pattern which takes 2-Hole Triangles. It is called Victory Bangle. This design by Nichole Starman starts with a strong foundation of Two Hole Bricks, which quickly works up to delicate yet edgy bands of Triangles. By the end you’ll have created a solid bangle with a texture and depth that is only possible with two hole czech beads.

This is not new style in my country. People do crystal wrapping around Buddha or holy artifact. I just never did it before. I bought cameo from a lovely shop, Cathysjewels. Very fast shipping from USA to Thailand, it took only 7 days. Well, It seems that I can’t find a cameo shop in my country. That’s sad. Anyway, here the tutorial.
