Free Bead Embroidery Tutorials (1/28/2015)
I have got to get back to doing some bead embroidery. It just seems like I don’t even have time to pick out what I want to do. Of course, we are in the middle of re-doing our kitchen, so that makes life fun! I’ve had some ideas in my head for earrings that I need to just sit down and make them. I love bead embroidery, and the drop-dead gorgeous projects I see in books and magazines are definitely eye candy! But collars and large cuffs aren’t what I wear for jewelry. And while I do enjoy bling, I also know that I would never be able to finish one of the broad collars — way too time-consuming for me. Components, on the other hand, are as close to instant gratification as you can get! Not to mention that they can be dressed up or down to suit your fancy.

I have made another of the lovely pincushions. I extremely like making them. The colours are blue, gold, green and purple. I have used 12 kinds of seed beads, some sequins and some glass beads.
