We’ve had SuperDuos for what, 2 or 3 years now? I still can’t believe all the creative patterns people come up with. They are especially great for chains and pendants. You can use the same stitch and make two items that look completely different just by switching your two-hole beads.

The beads needed for this pattern are Size 15/0 beads, two hole beads, and Miyuki 3.3×2.8mm drops. You will need approximately 8 Superduos, per inch of stitch.This stitch does work with other two holed beads in the place of the Superduos. The finished stitch is delicate looking but sturdy.

For my first sample, I made them as directed using Twin beads and Chinese bicones, but they came out horribly wonky. I don’t think this pattern is very well suited to bicones unless yours are very regular in shape. I don’t think that will ever be the case with Chinese bicones though. My earring came out a mess but it allowed me see that the design was worth trying with something different.
