There is nothing like the look and feel of a flat peyote stitch bracelet, whether it’s a geometric pattern or flowers, etc. But you can do so much more with peyote stitch. You can make triangles. Or use 3D sculptural to make little people, animals, flowers, etc. Even with flat peyote you can change colors and sizes of beads. Learn the basics and work your way up!

I love tiny glass seed beads. They come in so many colors, finishes and sizes. So, I decided to make a necklace with peyote stitched seed beads, and glass flower and leaf beads. This is just a one nice idea for you. Buy a washer (different sizes) in a hardware store. Then you will work in circular peyote stitch. You should start from the little circle, the same like you are beading around the bezel. I made 3 rows in flat peyote stitch with Delica 11/0 gold, then one row with lilac Delica 11/0 (flat peyote stitch) and then from the next row you should start with increasing and continue with circular peyote stitch till the end of the washer.
