I always fancy that we beaders who love crystals were probably crows or raccoons in a previous life. We cannot resist making something sparkly or taking home shiny beads. And we can’t get enough crystals. I know I’m stock-piling them. And what’s wrong with that?

Crystals need to be treated differently than other beads when you use them for bead-weaving because some of them can have sharp or rough edges that will wear or cut through your beading thread quickly. This is the fifth and final “Craving Crystal” bracelet and I like this one very much. However, I couldn’t make it fit my size so I added a couple of extra motifs and I will give it to someone as a gift. I’m sure that I could have tweaked it somehow to make it fit but I’ll do that another time. It was nearly done anyway so I went ahead and finished it.
