I wanted to show you the beaded crochet necklace I have finished recently. It’s made mostly with Toho seed beads and some Preciosa, since I couldn’t find all the needed colours from the Toho manufacturer… The necklace is 40 cm (15,75″) long and for once stringing the beads wasn’t a nightmare. In fact it was simple, fast and easy.

Turkish Flat Bead Crochet is easy and fun. A while ago posted this picture and got lots of requests for a tutorial. So here it is to celebrate the arrival of 16 new colors of C-Lon Tex 400 Bead Cord, bringing the total of colors of C-Lon Tex 400 Bead Cord to 72. Many people who know how to crochet are hesitant to try bead crochet.  It looks complicated but it is really very simple and easy to learn.  The process is simple, string your beads on to your string before you crochet, string them in the reverse order that you need them in the pattern as the last bead you string will be the first bead you use.  Then as you crochet you simply slide a bead to your needle and crochet over the bead with a stitch to lock it in place.

I have fallen in love, again! This time it is with this necklace! I thought I would give it a try & it is exactly what I had hoped it would be. You can find the free pattern & tutorial here at Craft Passion Crochet Bead Necklace Pattern & Tutorial. These are quick & easy to make. Perfect for using up scrap yarn. I didn’t have any beads that were large enough so I just used polystyrene balls from the craft shop. They are really much cheaper than beads. Because they are light, they are also much easy to wear.
