I showed these pearl encrusted big hole beads a while back in the Pandora Style Bead Gallery thread and got a bunch of requests for a tutorial on them. Are you ever in the middle of a huge pile of cored beads and you just are having a super off day? I was taught by a Native American instructor and have always thought of this stitch as Native American in design, but it’s been employed in various forms around the world. I learned the basic, single row triangle weave with seed beads. My first necklace has survived the years and I occasionally still wear it:
