Bead Loom Alphabet

What kind of technique or stitch I can use to make a seed bead bracelet with a name on it?

I need to find tutorials too.

BeadGal answers:

You can weave a bracelet made of beads using a loom. Make the design on graph paper to include the letters in the name.

Here are instructions to make and use a loom for a piece like a bracelet:

Donna asks…

Seed bead crafts?

I always see so many things made out of seed beads (animal keychains, coin purses, necklace, bracelet, earrings) Can anyone tell me how to make any of these or the best site out there to learn?

I appreciate it! :0)

BeadGal answers:

No idea my friend! The best option is to talk to someone in one of the craft or bead shops. They usually have an idea.

“Seed beads are small, usually mass-produced beads. They are meant to be sewn on or woven into patterns to give movement, and color to an object. Most are made of glass.” I dunno if this will help but it gives sewing instructions:

Sandy asks…

Can anyone help me find a website on how to weave bracelets with seed beads?

BeadGal answers:

We have a free stitch book online here at Guide to Beadwork:  http://www.guidetobeadwork.com/p,pid,26-guide-to-beadwork-bead-stitch-book.php
This site has some of the best instructions and patterns out there: http://www.bead-patterns.com/
Many beginner patterns and instructions are free for the basics, loom and off-loom.  Once you get going, there are tons of patterns there that you can buy once you know what you like to do.
