HOW to USE the BLUE PAGES

The retail stores in these blue pages are broken down by state. You can have the stores listed by Store Name, by City, or by Zip Code within their respective states. The 'Find' button can be very useful for states containing many entries. The Store and City lists are sorted alphabetically while the Zip Code list is sorted numerically.

• by Store Name

  Use this list order if you know the name of the store you are looking for.

• by City

  Use this list order if you know what city you want to find a store in. If there is more than one store in a city, they will be listed in a block alphabetically.

• by Zip Code

  This list order can be very useful for finding stores in your surrounding area. In general, zip codes which are close numerically are also close geographically. Find your own zip code (or the closest one numerically) in the list. There is a very good chance that the stores listed near your zip code (both above and below) may be located nearby.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• These BLUE PAGES are open to all retail bead stores free of charge. Click here to see the Bead Wholesaler YELLOW PAGES. Retail and wholesale stores are now separated. The information on this page pertains to BLUE PAGES (Retail) stores only.

• While the Blue Pages listings remain free to all, GTB now charges $36.00 per year for active links within Blue Page listings with the first three months free. Click here for more details. The service remains free to visitors and the listing itself remains free to store owners.

• Hours field: Our sign-up form has a field for store hours but it is not always filled in for various possible reasons. Usually, store hours will appear near the beginning of the description for the listing (after the phone numbers).

• Listed Since field: All listings show the month and year they were submitted to the list originally at the bottom of each listing.

• Last Updated field: Listings show the date they were last altered in any way. Listings without this field have not been altered since they were first submitted.

• ACCURACY ALERT field: This field carries varied information and is only used when deemed necessary. It appears right below the store name in the listing near the top. The most common occurence is when a visitor informs us a store is closed, but the information is unverified.

• This is still NOT a complete list but our visitors are helping us to make it more complete all the time. We now list thousands of retail bead suppliers all over the world. Over 90% of them don't pay us a dime.

• If you know of a retail bead store that is not in our list, we would very much appreciate if you would add it to the list. We always appreciate the help. Because of the volume of new stores, we only accept new listings via the Add Store Form. It's the only way to keep the service mostly free. We rely on store owners and customers 100% to provide current bead store info and a large number do so. Thanks to all.

• The list of stores is constantly expanding to include other regions as new stores request to be listed and are now truly wordwide.

• The actual lists of stores by area in this index are generated automatically by software I have written. Updates normally are easily incorporated into the lists as they arrive and are verified by hand (usually within a day or two).

• Store owners may add a short paragraph (25 words or less, strict) to be included with the listing. There is no charge for adding a retail bead store to this list.

• If your store is on this list by mistake, please let us know and we will remove it.

• You can also make corrections to your listing at any time free of charge.

UPDATING a STORE

• Please use the Update Store Form to help out with information about retail stores already on our lists.

• Required fields are Store, City, State and Zip Code for the form to process without errors and to identify the store being updated. More info may be necessary in a few cases. If any required fields are changing, be sure to reference the old values in the Comments field.

• Other fields left blank will not be altered. Only info which is changing needs to be entered beyond the four required fields. To actually erase a field write "delete" or "remove" in the field.

• Use the Comments field for store closures and other alerts and comments.

• Updates may also be accomplished via email but PLEASE reference City and State info along with the Store Name.

REMOVING a STORE

• Please use the Update Store Form to alert us about stores in our lists which you cannot find.

• Required fields are Store, City, State and Zip Code for the form to process without errors and to identify the store. In a few cases more information is necessary. Use the Comments field to explain what you know about it. (phone disconnected, couldn't find address, etc.)

• Alerts may also be accomplished via email but PLEASE reference City and State information along with the Store Name.

• For obvious reasons, requests for removal will be verified before any deletion occurs.
